Regulations

Anyone wishing to visit Lobos Island must first request an authorization through an online permit system.

According to the General Plan for Use and Management of the Islote de Lobos, and based on the environmental characteristics, the carrying capacity of this natural area is limited to 200 simultaneous visitors. To ensure this limit is respected, the Cabildo of Fuerteventura has implemented an online system for permit management.

Getting the authorization

Each visitor can request an authorization for up to three people per day per time slot:

Morning: from 10:00 to 14:00 (maximum 200 simultaneous visitors) Afternoon: from 14:00 to 18:00 (maximum 200 simultaneous visitors)

The authorization will collect the visitor’s personal details (first name, last name, ID card or passport), along with the date of visit and the chosen time slot.

The system processes requests immediately after completing the online form. The applicant then receives an email with a confirmation message.
